Terms & Conditions
The basis on which we provide our services, and how to use this website.
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms set out the basis on which Integrated Wellness UK provides psychotherapy, EMDR, coaching and therapeutic workshops, and on which you may use this website. Please read them before booking.
Important — we are not an emergency service
If you are in crisis or your life is at risk, do not use this website to seek help. Call 999, go to your nearest A&E department, or contact NHS 111. You can also call the Samaritans free at any time on 116 123, or text SHOUT to 85258. We do not monitor email or this website out of hours.
Our services
We offer individual psychotherapy and counselling, EMDR therapy, coaching, and Mood Moved therapeutic workshops. Sessions are available face to face, by video call or by telephone.
Therapy and coaching are collaborative processes. While we work to professional standards and draw on evidence-based approaches, no particular outcome can be promised or guaranteed. Our services are not a substitute for medical treatment, medication, or diagnosis by a doctor or psychiatrist.
Booking and suitability
- A free introductory call of around 10 minutes is available to all new clients. It carries no obligation on either side.
- Before ongoing work begins we will carry out an assessment to check that what we offer is right for you.
- If we do not think we are the right service for you, we will say so and, where we can, suggest alternatives.
- Our services are for adults aged 18 and over unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Fees and payment
Current fees are shown on our Fees page. Fees are agreed with you before work begins.
- Payment is due at the end of each session, or in advance.
- We accept cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
- Block bookings are paid for in advance and are transferable within a one-year period.
- We review our fees annually and will give you at least 2 months’ notice of any change.
Cancellations and missed appointments
Your appointment time is reserved for you alone, so late cancellations cannot usually be filled.
- Please give at least one week’s notice if you need to cancel or rearrange.
- Appointments cancelled with less notice, and appointments not attended, are charged in full.
- If we need to cancel, we will offer you an alternative time or a full refund.
- Repeated non-attendance may mean we end the work, which we would always discuss with you first.
Online and telephone sessions
For remote sessions, please make sure you are somewhere private where you will not be interrupted, and that you have a reliable connection. We use Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp Video. If the connection fails, we will try to reconnect, and if that is not possible we will continue by telephone.
Sessions are not recorded by us, and you should not record them without our written agreement.
Confidentiality
What you tell us is confidential, with the limited exceptions set out in our Privacy Policy — principally where there is a serious risk of harm, a safeguarding concern, or a legal requirement to disclose.
Workshops and group bookings
- Workshop places are confirmed once payment has been received.
- Workshop cancellations made with less than 2 weeks’ notice are non-refundable.
- We may need to change a date, venue or facilitator; if we do, you may transfer to another date or take a full refund.
- Corporate and group bookings are quoted individually and are subject to a separate written agreement.
- Participants take part in physical movement at their own pace. Please tell us in advance about any injury, medical condition or pregnancy so that activities can be adapted.
Professional standards and complaints
Each of our practitioners works to the ethical framework of the professional body they are registered with. Jade Taussig is an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a registered member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). James Bangash is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please raise it with us first — we take concerns seriously and will try to resolve them. If the matter cannot be resolved, you may complain to the relevant professional body.

Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with our services is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
